Map Collection Services

Find out what map collection staff can do for you

Map Collection librarians provide services for the Dalhousie University students, faculty, staff, and researchers and for the general public.

Reference services

Our knowledgeable staff will provide assistance to any research project.

Supplementary material

Staff can find and provide cartographic material that will enhance your lectures, labs, and assignments. Students and researchers are also encouraged to use materials from the Map Collection to complement their academic work.

Reserve material

Contact us to set aside specific materials aimed at students studying a particular region, event or theme. This is designed to enhance services for students by reserving materials and work space.

Customized displays

Organizing a conference or entertaining visitors? Allow our experienced staff to create a specialized display designed to capture the imagination and showcase the art and science of cartography.
