Other Video Conferencing Platforms


There are some third-party video conferencing tools for which we do not provide licenses or support. These are not Dalhousie standard products and should be used with caution.

Note: The use of the following products for administrative functions hosted at Dalhousie, or for events that could contain personal information (such as employee or academic admissions interviews), is not permitted based on the guidance of the Information Security Office and the Privacy Office. Microsoft Teams should be used instead.

  • CISCO Webex
        Similar functionality to Teams and Zoom
        Different licensing options permit 1,000 to 3,000 users per session

  • Adobe Connect
        Similar functionality to Teams and Zoom
        Different licensing options permit up to 100 users per session
