Medjuck Judaica Collection

In 1986, brothers Ralph, Harold and Frank Medjuck made a donation to the Dalhousie Libraries to create the Judaica Collection in memory of their parents, Irving and Blanche Medjuck. Since 2014, nearly 250 book donations have been made by Harold Medjuck personally.

These donations have given much more robust support to Jewish and Middle Eastern studies at Dalhousie than would have otherwise been possible. One of the largest in the region, the Medjuck Judaica Collection is available to students and scholars at Dalhousie and beyond, both through Nova Scotia’s Borrow Anywhere, Return Anywhere program and through interlibrary loan agreements between Dalhousie and libraries across the globe.
