Colleges and Institutes Canada
A membership organization, representing colleges and institutes in Canada. Formerly the Association of Canadian Community Colleges (ACCC)

Universities Canada (UC)
A membership organization, representing 95 universities and university degree-level colleges. Dalhousie University is a member of UC. Formerly the Association of University and Colleges of Canada (AUCC).

Canadian Association of University Teachers (CAUT)
Represents over 66,000 academic staff and provides wide range of services and advice to members.

CAUT has also produced their own set of Fair Dealing Guidelines, the CAUT Guidelines for the Use of Copyrighted Materials (2013).

Canadian Library Association
A non-profit voluntary organization with diverse membership including individuals and organizations with interests in library or information science. The vast majority of CLA members work in libraries across the country including college, university, public, special and school. The organization is advised by over thirty interest groups, of which there is a Copyright Advisory Committee.

Contact North - Ontario's Distance Education & Training Network
An organization that works in partnership with post-secondary learning institutions in Ontario to act as an advocate, catalyst and facilitator of innovation in online and distance learning.
