SCIFINDER‑n
The SciFindern resource, produced by Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS), is the most comprehensive source for chemical literature, searchable by topic, author, substances by name or CAS Registry Number, OR use the editor to draw chemical structures, substructures, or reactions. It is a core research tool for chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, nanotechnology, physics, environmental science and other science and engineering disciplines.
SciFindern provides access to new workflow solutions such as PatentPak™, MethodsNow™ and Retrosynthesis Planner as well as the core CAS-created databases available in classic SciFinder. This product is intended to help users optimally leverage information by dramatically reducing the time spent analyzing and refining answer sets. SciFindern provides online access to the Chemical Abstracts Service databases covering the disciplines of biomedical sciences, chemistry, engineering, materials science, agricultural science and more.
Access is restricted to current Dalhousie University faculty, staff and students for academic research. Alumni and commercial use is not permitted.
