Friends of the Library
Since 1902, when supporters banded together to raise funds for Dalhousie's first library building, dedicated and caring donors have played a key role in the growth of the Libraries. Today, Friends of the Libraries — from as faraway as Singapore and as near as next door — ensure continuing excellence in library services and collections.For more than a hundred years, the Library has turned to its Friends.
Gifts at any level are recognized by the Libraries and the University. And of course, an official receipt for income tax purposes is issued for all donations.
